Datacentrix year earnings rise 31%

Information and technology firm Datacentrix on Tuesday released strong earnings, despite difficult conditions and product cost deflation.
Headline earnings per share for the year ended February 28 increased by 31 percent on the previous year.
Group revenue grew from R763.7-million realised in financial 2004 to R897.4-million in the period under review.
The group posted a 40 percent increase in its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation to record R80.2-million.
A dividend of nine cents per share has been proposed, the company said.
Shares fell 2.82 percent to end at 310 cents on the JSE on Tuesday.
