New marketing director for SABMiller

Leading brewer SABMiller plc on Monday announced the appointment of Nick Fell as group marketing director, effective August 1, 2006.
Fell joins the business from Cadbury Schweppes where he was President Global Commercial Strategy, responsible for creating commercial strategies and capabilities to grow Cadbury’s share of the global confectionary market.
Prior to Cadbury, he held a number of senior marketing and brand management positions in the spirits and beer industry, most notably as global marketing director for Guinness and global brands director for Johnnie Walker.
Fell replaces Mark Sherrington, who has completed his four-year assignment.
