Petrol unchanged, diesel up

The retail price of all grades of petrol will not change this Wednesday, the energy department said last week.

In Gauteng a litre of 95 ULP petrol will still cost R7.65.

However, the wholesale price of diesel with a 0.05% sulphur content will increase by 10 cents a litre.

Diesel with a 0.005% sulphur content will increase by eight cents a litre.

The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will by rise by 14 cents a litre and the single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin will increase by 19 cents a litre.
