Online visa system launched for South Africans visiting UK

After success in countries like China and India, the online visa application service to the UK, Access UK, has been expanded to South Africa. If you're planning a British holiday you can now apply for your visa, make an appointment, and pay online.

South Africa closes Home Affairs department

South Africans will not be able to submit their applications for identity documents and passports for a week from 27 November because the Department of Home Affairs will be undertaking systems upgrades. It is expected that the upgrades will improve its services.
