Retail Motor Industry Organisation

The organisation's consumer affairs division will take up your complaints over dodgy dealers and slapshod service provided the dealer/garage is a member of the Organisation.

Check their membership directory online - preferably before you buy your car or take it in for a service!

National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of SA

Will mediate in disputes over new vehicles with member manufacturers.

Automobile Association

A range of technical, legal and other services and advice for paying members.

South African Bureau of Standards

You can complain to the Bureau about the safety aspects of vehicle components such as safety belts and brakes.
