How to report a fault, make an account inquiry, lodge a complaint or get other customer service from Telkom, Cell C, MTN or Vodacom.

Telkom

To complain about a Telkom service, follow these steps (and always ask for and take note of a complaint reference number):

  1. Phone 10210 (account inquiries), 10212 (fault reporting) or 10217 (business-related) and lodge your complaint.
  2. If you're not satisfied with the response, phone again and ask to speak to a supervisor.
  3. If you're still not satisfied, call regional customer care at 0800 600 126
  4. If you want to take the matter further, ask the regional customer care manager for the number of the chief executive officer and lodge your complaint with him/her.
  5. If you've given Telkom time to resolve your complaint and you're still not satisfied, contact The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa
