The Department of Science and Technology has called for nominations for the 7th National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) Science and Technology Awards to be held next year.
The awards recognise work in the fields of research, innovation, development, engineering and science and technology education.
Science and Technology Minister Mosibudi Mangena is the official patron of the awards.
"Enter your work, or your colleagues' work or your organisations' work for the NSTF Awards and you might win one of the prestigious trophies or at least gain recognition for your or their efforts," urged the department.
It said even if entrants did not win, their work might inspire others to take the road of science, engineering and technology.
"Share with us a celebration of outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations to science, engineering and technology through this event by entering or persuading others to
enter."
The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2005.
More information on the NSTF and the awards is available from the NSTF website.
