About Brand South Africa
Brand South Africa (Brand SA) is a public-private partnership established in 2002
to create a positive, unified brand image for South Africa – one that instils pride,
promotes tourism and investment, and supports new enterprise and job creation.
Brand SA's job is to see that South Africa's story is told compellingly,
consistently and, above all, authentically.
Together with its partners in the public and private sector, Brand SA is
dedicated to growing support, both locally and internationally, for South Africa's young
democracy and for the continent of which South Africa is a part.
Brand SA's partners include the Government Communication and Information
System, South African Tourism, and the departments of Trade and Industry, Tourism,
Home Affairs, and International Relations and Cooperation.
