Emirates increases SA flights

Dubai-based Emirates Airline has added four new flights to its existing Johannesburg service, bringing its South African presence to 18 weekly flights.


SA Airways lures US travellers
SA Airways has introduced lower and more flexible fares for flights between the US and South Africa between August and October, giving easier access to flights from more than 30 US cities to more than 25 southern African destinations.



Star Alliance pushes Africa travel
The Star Alliance airline network has unveiled a "Visit Southern Africa" campaign to promote the region to US and Canadian travellers, underscoring the wide choice of flight connections to Africa offered by the network's member carriers.



Getting to South Africa
There's more than one way of getting to South Africa. If you're really adventurous, you could sail here or, if you have the time, travel over Africa overland. Flying, of course, is the most practical choice.

OR Tambo International Airport (formerly Johannesburg International) is the busiest airport on the continent - and the air transport hub of southern Africa.



Cape Town International Airport
Cape Town International Airport is South Africa's second largest airport, and a prime tourism gateway serving millions of visitors descending on the Mother City every year.



Durban International Airport
During the holiday season, local and foreign tourists flock to the golden beaches of Durban and surrounding destinations, as well as to KwaZulu-Natal's game parks, mountains and rolling green countryside. The gateway to these attractions is Durban International Airport.
